Fashion Stylist | The Most Requested Look For Male Client’s

Fashion Stylist | The most Requested Look For Male Clients A good number of Mabelle Style's clients have a professional or business background. In regards to our male clients, I find they often work in a job that requires 'minimal' time wearing suits, but they still are required to maintain a professional look. Insert the sports jacket. This has been a go-to look for a large percentage of my clients due to the fact that they are able to wear it to work as well as make it cool for evenings out. When I styled this photo shoot I was excited to share some pictures of this look, so often requested. Style tip * Make sure you find a sports coat that fits! Meaning, have some shape at the waistline and the fabric should have some 'give' to avoid feeling constricted when you do activities or when driving. * Dress up the sports jacket by adding a dress shoe or give a cool casual vibe by investing in a sneaker, such as this pair of Goodman sneakers. Fashion Stylist | 1 Spring Outfit, 4 NEW Looks

Fashion Stylist | 1 Spring Outfit, 4 NEW Looks One of the biggest challenges people have with their wardrobe is how to put outfits together. It can be difficult due to either having way to many clothes with-in the wardrobe, feeling overwhelmed not being able to tie everything together or they happen to be missing some key items that will pull outfits together with what they currently own. Or they just might need a brand new wardrobe.... whatever the case may be I like to suggest capsule wardrobes, when clients don't have an overwhelming amount of clothes but just enough to create multi-functional outfits.  In my latest YouTube I wanted to share a fun Spring (trendy) outfit I added to my wardrobe but was able to re-purpose into 4 outfits. Check it out below! BACK TO BLOG LIBRARY

Style Consultant | Success With Online Shopping

Style Consultant | Success With Online Shopping Normally, the month of April would be the beginning of the peak season for personal shopping.  Stylists tend to be quite busy between April - June as clients begin to sport some light weight Spring / Summer wardrobes.  Because things have shifted and times have changed recently, with our favorite stores all being closed the past few weeks, this has drastically altered how I (and many others) have adapted to work. A few of my clients have chosen not to wait for the stores to reopen and are using Mabelle Style's Online Personal Shopping Package, I thought I'd share the breakdown and give you more insight regarding it's 4 simple steps if your currently interested in working with a fashion stylist. Step 1 - Client & Stylist discuss and create a personal shopping list for the season. Step 2 -Stylist Proceeds to create a mood (pin) board to give the client a visual of the overall styles they will be working with. Step 3 - Once the shopping list & mood board have been approved, the stylist will then gather together an email identifying each category from your shopping list. Under each category will be links to shop - depending on the time frame of your package you can receive anywhere from 5-25 items per category. Once the client has their shopping

Fashion Consultant | My Spring Personal Shopping List

Fashion Consultant | My Spring Personal Shopping List September 13, 2019 Each season I create a shopping list for myself with what I need (and a couple of wants) to add to my wardrobe. A similar shopping list is created for all Mabelle Style clients. The reason a shopping list is so important is to support clients from making bad purchases, buying items you do not need and help avoid impulse shopping. Check out my personal shopping list for this Spring / Summer season as well as some inspo below! Be mindful that every client's shopping list can look different based on their personal style and needs. I usually focus on a refresh of basics and a couple of very seasonal/trendy pieces to kick up my overall neutral wardrobe. This season I didn't add any accessories such as jewelry, hats, handbags as I felt I currently have a good assortment. BACK TO BLOG LIBRARY

The Personal Shopping List For Fall

Why is it so important to have a shopping list when shopping for apparel?   Mabelle Style believes that you can avoid impulse buys, overspending, bad purchases and it can be a time saver when shopping in the stores.... if you prepare a detailed shopping list beforehand.   Before I shop with my clients, new or regular, we work together to come up with a shopping list for each season beforehand. As an option, I suggest a budget to the list for overall total and /or per item. No shopping list is one and the same, as everybody's needs are different. Recently, I did a poll on Insta stories asking who would like to see my personal shopping list for fall? I got an overwhelming response of YES! Keep in mind the list I prepared below is based off someone (me!) who shops a lot and enjoys it. (opposite of most my clients) which means I don't need many basics or a large number of items, mainly a few refreshers and trendy pieces.     Footwear ~ My favorite area is shoes, which can be problematic as it's the one section of my wardrobe I have too many. This season, my list consists of knee high boots to wear with both midi skirts/dresses and over a pair of denim. The style shown below is my fave (Tamara
