How to add a little ‘designer’ to your wardrobe without spending the big bucks!

Mabelle Style clients like to tag me for looks that they find on fashion Instagram pages asking me to source out these items as their personal shopper. Often, these pieces are high priced ticket and designer items, especially during fashion week when displayed all over social media. To take the designer style and change or make it a healthy budget shop, I specialize in sourcing cost effective pieces and (could) include an item from the designers collection to achieve the full look.

This outfit post is a perfect example. I’m currently obsessed with Balmain. Their items include embossed gold button detail, nude suede military dresses, double breasted tailored blazer, giving meaning to the brands hashtag #balmainarmy. But I’m personally not going to pick up the $2500 blazer because I will find the less expensive version at H&M however, I did source out a cotton Balmain tank that Kendall Jenner wore at the Spring 2016 show and was also able to lose a 0 on the end of that blazer price point! Now I’ve created my own #balmainarmy outfit heading into Spring 2016 and didn’t break the bank!

Check out Balmain for a glimpse into the full collection.
