Shopping Spring Handbags

Last year I shared some of my favorite handbags for 2024 and have been requested to do the same again for 2025!

There are so many different handbag trends happening this Spring, but as you often hear me say not every trend is for everyone. You want to look at bags that may have trending factors but are also a style that you will wear often! Price per wear is something important to think about as handbags vary in price points.  You also want to have an idea as to what style of bag you’d prefer. Is it a shoulder bag, crossbody or tote, as some examples.  Knowing the style that works best for your lifestyle before you begin the hunt can help you narrow down your search.

Shopping brands like Longchamp, Coach, Tory Burch, Strathberry or moving into more elevated designer brand like Gucci, Celine, Bottega can be one of the easiest way to take a basic outfit and make it chic/cool/on trend. You don’t need to break the bank either, I’m showing designer brands below but that’s not necessary.  A lot, of great brands listed above fall into a great mid range price point. I do suggest having an idea of what price range you’re willing to spend, as this can give you clarity as to what brands & styles will fit into your budget.

Some of my favorite styles this season that can easily mix into and refresh a capsule wardrobe are the Raffia bags. I’ve shared a couple of Spring 2025 styles below, this style can be dressed up or casual. Other styles to keep an eye out are denim bags, large slouchy totes (this one will easily carry into Fall.) Shoulder baguette or east/west bags are cute for evenings out and the small bucket bag is great for a cool everyday look. Adding colour into your wardrobe with a handbag is another easy way to refreshed your wardrobe seasonally, by choosing a seasonal trending colour like mocha brown, burgundy, cognac to name a few trending this season.
